Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda is a twin-island nation lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of two major inhabited islands, Antigua and Barbuda, and a number of smaller islands (including Great Bird, Green, Guinea, Long, Maiden and York Islands and further south, the island of Redonda). The permanent population numbers approximately 81,800 (at the 2011 Census).
Separated by a few nautical miles, Antigua and Barbuda are in the middle of the Leeward Islands, part of the Lesser Antilles, roughly at 17 degrees north of the Equator. The country is nicknamed "Land of 365 Beaches" due to the many beaches surrounding the islands. Its governance, language, and culture have all been strongly influenced by the British Empire, of which the country was formerly a part.
The citizenship-by-investment program was launched and passed by both houses of Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda April 2013. The laws regarding the Citizenship-by-Investment program are contained in the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013 and the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Regulations, 2013.

  The main applicant must be at least 18 years of age, a spouse, children under 30 years of age, unmarried and economic fully supported by his or her parents can apply the St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship together.
  Applicants should have no criminal record and no any contagious diseases.
  The main applicant can be granted citizenship by making a contribution to the National Development Fund (NDF) in the minimum sum of US$200,000 per application. (depending on the number of applicants).
  To qualify for citizenship under the real estate option, the government requires applicants to make an investment in designated, officially approved real estate with a value of at least US$ 400,000.
  Full citizenship with passport is granted to the applicant and family.
  A member of the British Commonwealth which entitles Antigua and Barbuda citizens to certain privileges in the UK and other Commonwealth countries.
  No tax on worldwide income, death tax and no inheritance tax.
  There are no language, age, business experience, and educational requirements.
  A Antigua and Barbuda passport holder can travel to approximately 120 countries in the world, including Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK and Europe with relative ease and without challenging visa requirements.
